
Ventiko has been a photographic artist since taught to use a Pentax K 1000 camera by her father at age 9. Blessed to apprentice under Maestro Tony Clevenger, Ventiko moved to New York from Indianapolis, Indiana to pursue her craft in 2008 and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Ventiko’s photographic work has been shown in both group and solo shows nationwide. She was represented by Joanne Artman Gallery at Photo L.A. 2011, and currently has work on view at both Joanne Artman Gallery in Los Angeles and Edelman Arts in NYC. Her work can be found in both public and private collections including The Kinsey Institute. Ventiko has created multiple public installations for both Oranje of Indianapolis and Nightmare Haunted House of New York City. Her latest project involves creating wearable sculptures from recycled milk cartons, which will again become the subject of a photographic series, installations and performances this spring by Sylva Dean and Me, the performative experience for the Avant Garde connoisseur.
