
Ventiko has been a photographic artist since taught to use a Pentax K 1000 camera by her father at age 9. Blessed to apprentice under Maestro Tony Clevenger, Ventiko moved to New York from Indianapolis, Indiana to pursue her craft in 2008 and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Ventiko’s photographic work has been shown in both group and solo shows nationwide. Currently her photographic work can be seen at the Joanne Artman Gallery in Los Angeles (who represented her at Photo L.A. 2011) and in the permanent collection of The Kinsey Institute. Ventiko has created multiple public installations for both Oranje of Indianapolis and Nightmare Haunted House of New York City and her latest commission involves creating wearable sculptures from recycled milk cartons for the performance troupe Sylva Dean and Me.
